We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our caring and dedicated team members 💜
Congratulations to Registered Nurse Adayana “Diana” and Enrolled Nurse Riley, who have successfully passed their final assessment for both male and female catheter training.

This important training strengthens their clinical knowledge and practical skills in safe catheter care, infection prevention and best-practice procedures, helping us continue to provide safe, respectful and person-centred care to the multicultural seniors we support.

For Diana and Riley, ongoing learning means being able to provide care with greater confidence, while helping participants feel comfortable, supported and treated with dignity.

At Cura, nursing care is about more than clinical support. It is about building trust, promoting independence, advocating for our participants and delivering care that is both professional and genuinely compassionate.

Well done, Diana and Riley. Your dedication, kindness and commitment to clinical excellence make a meaningful difference every day 👏

We had an amazing day celebrating Aged Care Employee Day and thanking our incredible Cura Aged Care team.

Every day, our staff show compassion, patience, professionalism and kindness in how they support our seniors and their families. From Home Care Workers and service coordinators to administration staff and team members working behind the scenes, everyone plays an important role in creating a caring, respectful and supportive environment for our participants and their families.

Aged care takes dedication, heart and a genuine commitment to making others feel seen, cared for, respected and included.

To our Cura team: thank you for the meaningful difference you make every day, for the love you put into your work and for connecting with our multicultural seniors in genuine ways. We are proud and grateful to work alongside you.

At our Friday social group, we had the joy of celebrating Magdalene’s 90th birthday. It was a beautiful moment to honour Magdalene and share smiles, birthday wishes and special memories.

Reaching 90 is such a wonderful milestone, and we feel privileged to celebrate this special day with her.

We wish Magdalene a very happy birthday and many more beautiful moments. 🎉🌸

Our Japanese Club enjoyed a beautiful outing to Charles Holm Park in Santa Barbara, followed by a lovely visit to the Tavern at Hope Island. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, the smiles on our seniors’ faces made the day so special. Our group of Japanese seniors shared happy moments together, reminding us that joy can shine through any weather 💛

It was a wonderful day of connection, culture and beautiful memories. We loved seeing everyone so relaxed and happy throughout the outing.

Our Japanese Club enjoyed another wonderful day of connection, learning and fun as the participants took part in an informative session about the 2026 Census, delivered by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), helping everyone feel more prepared and confident about being counted. The session was delivered in a way that supported our Japanese seniors’ language and cultural needs, making the information easy to understand and meaningful for everyone.

The group also enjoyed fun games to give the brain a workout, encouraging memory, focus, laughter and friendly conversation. It was lovely to see everyone sharing moments together, staying active and connecting through language, culture and friendship.

With the 2026 Census taking place on the 11th of August, we are proud to support our multicultural seniors with opportunities to learn, stay informed and feel confident participating. Thank you to everyone who joined us. 💜

Our Wellness Centre had a magical vibe last week as our seniors came together to celebrate Christmas in July. From joyful conversations and seasonal decorations to beautiful seniors dressed up and special moments with friends, it was a wonderful day of connection, warmth and community.

We love creating meaningful experiences that bring people together and support wellbeing all year, especially those special festive days🎄
