Kennedy Farm

Kennedy Farm I wandered past the beached boards, glancing briefly at the eclectic treasures from a time long past. The first rays pierce through the misty morning.

Warmth still emanates from the wood stove from the night before, as I slip on my trusty boots in the friendliest of cottage kitchens. Heading out the back door I am greeted by a battery of clucks awaiting some two legged company. The still air hanging thick with a frosty chill, broken only by the chattering and twittering amongst the Banksia's and the Mulberry. The old tractor sitting by the gate

glistens in the yellow glow. The old sheep in the top paddock still heavy with wool looks on as the Alpaca's stand proud and strong. A sanctuary of mind and spirit nestled in Adelaide hills just a stones throw from the 21st century. A beer, a barbie, and an Angus, awaits at the Kennedy farm.
