🎉 Welcome to Country – Spirit in Unity
We’ll open our gathering with a ceremonial Welcome to Country delivered by Spirit in Unity. This will ground the event in connection, respect and unity; acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we meet

🌟 Cultural Performance – IMBALA (David Booth)
Immediately following that, we have a 20-minute cultural performance by David Booth and IMBALA, featuring traditional dance in full cultural attire, Yidaki (didgeridoo) demonstration and storytelling — crafted to bring everyone into the experience and strengthen our shared sense of community.

We are incredibly proud to bring these powerful cultural moments to our community event. Join us for fun, games, connection, respect and celebration.

Hi everyone, by now some of you would have seen the weather report for Saturdays Christmas Party which is warm but predicted to rain - however the show must go on!!! So I am putting the call out there to you all:
A) can you bring your own little marquee? (or similar)
B) if you have any spare for others who dont you are happy to share?
c) just make sure you are prepared for the rain
Also dont forget to bring your picnic in case the CFS sausage sizzle and the Hokey Pokey ice-cream van aren't enough snackage for you!

It’s not often a company actually asks to sponsor your event - but Tembys Farm are total legends and wanted to contribute, so a big thank you to them for joining the crew of awesome local businesses supporting the Ashton Christmas Party!

Tembys farm eggs are located in the Adelaide Hills in Marble Hill and raise their hens free range in green pastures. Mainly forage-fed, supplemented with clean grain feed, they have less than 750 birds per hectare. Tembys Farm is a family operated business and chemical free.

You can find their eggs at a number of outlets as per their page, but most importantly- you can find them on our breakfast plates at Cherry Bomb Cafe. * by the way you can check out their road side stall on Marble Hill Rd after breakky with us👍

So as you know, no event is possible without sponsors, and Ashton Hills Winery also got on board with making the Ashton Christmas party possible. It is with their support and the other sponsors you’ll see over the next few days that we have events like these where locals can get together.

Ashton Hills was founded by Stephen George in 1982 and since that time it has built a reputation as one of Australia’s finest proponents of Pinot Noir and cool climate whites.

Their philosophy on the winemaking process is very simple, with a focus on minimal intervention and movement they are able to capture the true expression of this unique site.

Nestled in the Piccadilly Valley, the Ashton Hills vineyard is climatically different to the rest of the Hills, being significantly colder and wetter. At one of the highest altitudes in the Adelaide Hills the vines shudder through some of the coolest growing conditions in the country, with rainfall a whopping 1200mm a year, well over double that of the Barossa Valley. So whether it’s the lifted perfumes and elegant structure of the pinot noir or the crisp purity of the riesling, Piccadilly Valley’s bona-fide cool-climate imprint is a feature of the wines.

Ashton Hills Winery is just around the corner from Cherry Bomb Cafe, which is really the perfect way to spend a day with breakfast or lunch with us followed by the finest Pinot with them.

Of course no event is possible without sponsorship… the team at Ceravolo’s have always been big community supporters and didn’t hesitate to get on board with sponsoring the Ashton Christmas Party.

Sooo.... Christmas is just around the corner and planning for Ashton Christmas Party 2024 has begun... If you are able to help promote the event, set up decorate or tidy up on the day, coordinate a kids activity, know a local business who might like to sponsor or a band who might like to play, I’d be so grateful for the help. Likewise if you have any other ideas to help celebrate this day, please get in touch!
