Just a reminder, this is an important meeting, and we beg you all to make the effort, to attend. Just 1-1/2 hrs have lunch on us, and work clothes acceptable, this is too important to get fussy.
Any services that may be able to attend during any disaster or emergency within the community/district. are still some distance away, therefore we must be prepared, and aware for our own safety.
Thank you to those who have already replied, it makes catering so much easier. Thanks Jill Ph.88671127 to book or more info.

🚨🚨AVON & DISTRICT INFO

Australian Red Cross will be visiting Avon on 3RD September 2024 at 12 noon to 1.30pm. Avon Hall to discuss and help our community be prepared for emergencies and disasters. We stress this is very important meeting for all residents of the district

Avon District is a rural area with few facilities to deal with emergencies and therefore we must prepare for what life throws at us. Emergencies don’t just include bushfires, earthquakes, or floods.

Emergencies don’t discriminate. Emergencies services may not be able to assist us, due to location and other areas requiring assistance, lack of access etc. Often it is a member of the community to be the first to help rather than an emergencies service.

🚨🚨Numbers are required or we will have to cancel so we urge all residents to attend this FREE event.

🦺It has been designed to help with your working day within a lunch time break when free tea & coffee and light snack will be available. This is too important for you or a family member not to attend, therefore dress code includes work /farm clothes

🚒Please book with Red Cross below and to help with catering please let the hall team know your also attending
