Badger Creek Primary School

Badger Creek Primary School Badger Creek Primary School is located in the beautiful area of Healesville. It is situated opposite

Set in beautiful and expansive grounds, the school holds an important place in the local community. This connection forms part of the identity of all Badger Creek students and is the foundation of children's learning programs and the proud culture as a โ€˜Sanctuary For Learningโ€™. The school is dedicated to ensuring that it remains an open and welcoming place for all who engage with it. Our dedicated

and friendly staff provide the best possible education and services to our students and families. Building strong partnerships with students, families and the community enhances our ability to cater and care for the needs of all individuals. We strongly encourage families and community members to be actively involved in studentโ€™s education and wellbeing. The school provides an outstanding learning experience for all students, one which engages students in their learning, utilises the best resources available, holds high expectations and prepares students for a life of continued learning. We have deliberately set out to teach our students how to learn and provide opportunities to build the skills, attitudes and knowledge required for successful life long learning. An outstanding education involves a passionate commitment to high standards of learning for all students. Our curriculum offers students the opportunity to strive for excellence, develop resiliency and provides academic programs that stimulate and challenge each child. We offer a number of specialist programs including Information Music, Physical Education and Art. Our school culture is one of respect, sharing, and positive learning. This is reflected and reinforced in both the indoor and outdoor learning spaces. This has led to an environment of meaningful interactions occurring between students, staff and parents and we are very proud of our positive learning environment.

๐Ÿ“š What a Happy Day ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Thank you to the WHOLE school, Preps-Yr6 at Badger Creek Primary School , Healesville, and their teachers, for welcoming me so warmly into their beautiful school community ๐Ÿฅฐ I absolutely loved driving out of Melbourne to see you . . . the smile on my face got wider, the closer I got to your school and its stunning bush setting at the base of the mountains. I loved sharing my author experiences with you, and hearing all about your Happy Places and your writing questions. A *very happy* way to spend the last official day of Children's Book Week (though I do have one more amazing school to visit on Monday ๐Ÿ˜ƒ).
๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ“š Thanks to for organising my visit!
