*** CAN YOU IDENTIFY THIS PERSON ? ***

On the 9th August , 2026, at approximately 7:15pm, a single offender attended a service station on Reeve Street, Sale.

They entered the store, approached the counter and made demands for cash while making gun shapes with their hand.

They left empty handed and the victim contacted Police immediately afterwards.

The offender is described as tall, slim build, very dark skin and had an accent. He was wearing a white jacket with fur around the hood, dark coloured pants and dark coloured shoes.

Police have released images of a person they believe can assist them with their enquiries.

👮‍♂️👮‍♂️👮‍♂️On Wednesday the 19th of August 2026, Orbost Police were conducting speed enforcement in Nowa Nowa when they observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed in the posted 60km zone. The speed was locked in on Police radar at 102kmph. Subsequently the driver was also found to be an unaccompanied learner. Due to safety concerns related to ongoing offending as an unaccompanied learner and high-risk driving, the vehicle was impounded at a cost of $1445. The driver will be summons to court to face driving related charges at a future date 👮‍♂️👮‍♂️👮‍♂️

👮‍♂️👮‍♂️👮‍♂️ On the 20th of July 2026 at approximately 02:00am three unknown people were observed driving a Champagne coloured Holden Cruze through Eastwood. The three people canvassed unlocked vehicles at multiple address's, removing items.

On this day, one year ago, two of our colleagues were tragically killed in the line of duty.

Today, and every day, we remember Detective Leading Senior Constable Neal Thompson and Senior Constable Vadim de Waart-Hottart and the tragedy that occurred in Porepunkah on 26 August 2025.
