📚It's safe to say our Moorabool Libraries and customer service staff really get amongst the magic and fun that is Book Week!

🎶Last week, both teams got together to celebrate this year's Book Week theme - Symphony of Stories - dressing up and getting into the spirit of the occasion.

🥳We have loved connecting with our community through the many enthusiastic young readers, rhyme times, creative costumes, community art exhibitions and more across our branches in Ballan and Bacchus Marsh.

It's almost Women's Health Week in the Moorabool Shire and this year, we are here to help.

Join us for a welcoming community conversation about women's health, local support services and practical ways to prioritise your wellbeing at the Lerderderg Library in Bacchus Marsh on Saturday 5 September.

This year's theme, 'Do It Anyway', is all abut taking small steps towards better health and wellbeing. Hear from Kathy from the Bacchus Marsh Women's Health Clinic and Dr Ravin Sadhai OAM, a long-serving Bacchus Marsh GP recognised for his outstanding contribution to medicine and community health.

Together, they will share insights into women's health, the support services available locally, and the many ways women can access care and information through everyday community spaces. This conversation is an opportunity to take that first step and 'do it anyway.'

A light morning tea will be supplied. For more information and to book, visit our website https://www.moorabool.vic.gov.au/Events/BacchChat-Womens-Health-We-are-here-to-help
