Great work by the state Liberal team.

The Victorian Liberal Nationals put forward the positive idea to enable people to access their QR code history for contact tracing purposes.

This allows all Victorians to have more control over their own information and help speed up a too-slow contact tracing process so far.

Finally, that has now been delivered - meaning every Victorian can quickly and securely check their history against listed exposure sites to help get and keep Victoria open.

in 1977 the Victorian Equal Opportunity Act received royal assent.

The Act, put into place by the Liberal Hamer Government, was a landmark change which sought to tackle sexism in everyday life and particularly in the workplace. It was foundational in ensuring more Victorian women had the same chances and choices as men.

This is commitment to the community. As farmers, small business owners and volunteers we know the value of hard work and as TA demonstrates we often do it behind the scenes not looking for accolades and rewards.

Former PM Tony Abbott has rolled up his sleeves to help out New South Wales’ flood relief effort.

Women have always played an integral part in the decision making processes of our fabulous party.

Today marks 100 years since the election of Edith Cowan, the first woman to be elected to an Australian Parliament. Cowan served as the Nationalists Party (precursor to the Liberal Party) member for the seat of West Perth in 1921.

Cowan's most significant achievements during her three-year term were the introduction of two bills which extended the rights and raised the standing of women in society. The first, cemented the right of women, married or single, to enter the professions. The second, gave inheritance rights to women whose adult children died without having made a will and without having had children of their own.

Cowan is remebered as a trailblazer, and remained one of only three women to be elected members of the Western Australian Parliament before 1970. Her election contributed to the success of other women running for office, including Australia's first female Federal Member of Parliament, Enid Lyons, who was elected in 1943.

THERE IS A BETTER WAY

As a proud Victorian it pains me to say it...but NSW has shown the way in how to manage COVID without locking down the state.

NSW hasn’t been perfect, but they’ve done a much better job than the Andrews Labor government.

That’s the model we need in Victoria.

Well said Jacinta we couldn't agree more with these sentiments.

Well said Jacinta we couldn't agree more with these sentiments.

You are the controller of your own destiny, no one else is. The victimhood mentality fails to recognise this.
