Central Highlands Libraries We are a public library. Note that the period between midnight September 25th until 6pm October 27th is known as the caretaker period for Council.

Council has obligations under section 55D of the Local Government Act which restricts the content that can be displayed during this period on any Council sponsored page. Posts that are political in nature or deal with issues being considered in the election are prohibited. Any posts of this nature made during the caretaker period will be removed. We have libraries in Ararat, Avoca, Bacchu

s Marsh, Ballan, Ballarat, Beaufort, Clunes, Creswick, Daylesford, Hamilton, Maryborough, Sebastopol, Trentham, Wendouree and also Outreach Services.
