👏 Celebrating our incredible volunteers!

This week, our Age Friendly Ambassadors were recognised for their outstanding contributions as City of Ballarat volunteers.

Mayor Tracey Hargreaves met with the Ambassadors to celebrate their achievements and acknowledge the vital role they play in helping shape a more Age Friendly Ballarat. Certificates of appreciation were presented, followed by a shared morning tea.

Our 10 Age Friendly Ambassadors bring diverse backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. They generously volunteer their time to represent older community members and strengthen the connection between Council and the community. It was wonderful to have eight Ambassadors attend on the day.
