BCC COLLEGE PRODUCTION – RESERVE YOUR SEATS!

📚✨ Book Week Dress-Up Day 2026 ✨📚

What a wonderful day we had yesterday celebrating the magic of books and reading! Our school was filled with an amazing array of favourite book characters as students and staff embraced this year's Book Week Dress Up Day with creativity, enthusiasm, and lots of fun.

A big thank you to our students, families, and staff for making the day such a success. We loved seeing all the incredible costumes, having family come in for story time and morning tea.

Remember our Book Fair is running all week. Recess/Lunchtimes/After School

This week is Book Week and Book Fair is being held once again from our Naplan Room at the East End of the College.

🏑 Greater Western Region Hockey Finals 🏑

Maddi and Harriet joined seven other girls from the Kowree schools, Edenhope College and St Malachy's, to form a team for the Greater Western Region Hockey Finals.

The team competed against Warrnambool East Primary School and Hamilton and Alexandra College, playing each team twice throughout the day. The girls drew both matches against Warrnambool East and were unlucky not to come away with a win in either game. They were defeated by Hamilton and Alexandra College, but continued to improve and compete strongly as the day progressed.

To their credit, the girls played exceptionally well throughout the tournament. Considering that most of the team had never played competitive hockey before, they showed great determination, teamwork and resilience. In their second match against Hamilton, a side made up of experienced hockey players, the girls rose to the challenge and delivered a very competitive performance.

A big thank you to Carlee O'Brien and Keiren Brennan for coaching and umpiring, and to Sherryn Simpson for supporting the team throughout the day. Your time and commitment were greatly appreciated.
