What a fantastic day at the Banana State School Sports Carnival! Students showcased outstanding effort, determination, and school spirit throughout the day, with plenty of exciting competition across all events. It was wonderful to see students encouraging one another, celebrating successes, and demonstrating excellent sportsmanship both on and off the field. The carnival was filled with fun, laughter, and memorable moments for students, staff, and families alike. One of the highlights of the day was the annual King and Shirley House Parents Relay. As always, this much-anticipated event brought plenty of excitement, friendly rivalry, and laughs, with parents enthusiastically joining in the fun and adding to the carnival atmosphere. A big thank you to our staff, volunteers, families, and supporters who helped make the day such a success. Congratulations to all students for their participation, effort, and positive attitude. We are proud of the way everyone represented Banana State School. A special shoutout to Bluey who popped in for the morning to watch the student races. This week's Book Fair.

What a fantastic day at the Banana State School Book Fair Parade!
Students had so much fun dressing up as their favourite book characters and celebrating the joy of reading together. A huge thank you to our amazing P & C for organising the parade and generously giving every child a $5.00 voucher to spend at the Book Fair. Your support helps foster a love of books and reading in our school community!
