What an absolutely wonderful morning we had at Bankstown North Public School celebrating our amazing dads, grandads, uncles and special father figures! 🥰

Our Donuts with Dad celebration was a huge success, filled with big smiles, lots of laughs, special moments and, of course, plenty of delicious donuts! 🍩📸

It was so lovely to see our school community come together and to watch our students proudly spend the morning with the special people in their lives. These are the moments and memories that make our BNPS community so special. ❤️💙

Our donut photo frame is ready, the donuts are waiting, and we can’t wait to see our BNPS families arriving for a special morning together. 🥰🍩

🐮🐑🚜 Kindergarten & SEU are off on an adventure! 🚜🐑🐮

Our Kindergarten and SEU students have started their day at Calmsley Hill City Farm, and everyone is so excited for the wonderful day ahead! 🌾🐴🐓

They’ll have a fantastic day exploring the farm, meeting the animals, learning lots of new things and making some very special memories with their friends. 💙❤️

We can’t wait to see all the smiles and hear about their farm adventures! 🐷🐐🐄✨

📚 Every Minute Matters – Term 3, Week 6 Attendance Update

Being at school **on time and staying for the full school day makes a real difference to every child’s learning.

Our Week 6 data shows 118 part-day absences across K–6, resulting in a total of 5,103 minutes of learning time lost. That’s approximately 85 hours of missed classroom learning.

We understand that appointments, illness and unexpected circumstances can sometimes mean students arrive late or need to leave early. However, where possible, we encourage families to minimise late arrivals and early departures.

⏰ Our school day is 9:00am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday. Arriving on time helps students settle into their learning, participate in important morning routines and make the most of every opportunity throughout the day.

Thank you to our families for continuing to support strong attendance. ❤️💙

We are so proud of all our amazing students who represented Bankstown North Public School at yesterday’s District Athletics Carnival! ❤️💙

Every student showed fantastic sportsmanship, determination and school spirit throughout the day. It was wonderful to see our students giving their very best, supporting one another and representing BNPS with pride.

A huge congratulations to all of our athletes — regardless of results, you should all be incredibly proud of your efforts and achievements! 🌟👏

📚 **EVERY MINUTE MATTERS AT BANKSTOWN NORTH** ⏰

We have run our attendance data again for **Term 3, Week 5**, and the results are an important reminder of just how quickly missed learning time can add up.

Late arrivals and early departures may seem like only a few minutes, but across a week, term and year, those minutes can mean **hours and even days of valuable classroom learning missed**.

Regular attendance and arriving at school on time gives every child the best opportunity to learn, grow, build friendships and succeed. ❤️💙

We ask all families to support us by ensuring students are at school **every day, on time and ready to learn**, wherever possible.
