Pakistan Business Association Korea Chairman Madasar Ali Cheema Visits Australia, Holds Key Meetings with Overseas Pakistani and PML-N Leadership
Madasar Ali Cheema, Chairman of the Pakistan Business Association Korea and Head of the Korea Overseas Council and Advisor to the Chairman OPF, recently visited Australia, where he met with prominent leaders of the Overseas Pakistani community. The visit aimed to strengthen ties between Pakistani communities in Australia and South Korea, explore new opportunities in trade, investment, education and community collaboration, and further promote a positive image of Pakistan on the global stage.
During the visit, Madasar Ali Cheema met with well known business, education and community figure Affan Shahid, who serves as Director of Affable International, an education and migration consultancy, as well as Director of Civic Health and Care Limited. The meeting included detailed discussions on educational opportunities for overseas Pakistani youth, professional development, investment prospects and strengthening cooperation between the two countries. He also met with prominent Australian Pakistani figure Dr Nadeem Sheikh, a Pain Management Consultant and senior leader of the Australian Pakistani community, who also serves as Chief Patron of the PML-N Australia Chapter.
The meeting covered the role of overseas Pakistanis, community welfare, investment, and further strengthening ties with Pakistan. It was also acknowledged that Affan Shahid and Nadeem Sheikh are playing an active role in establishing the Friends of Pakistan Parliamentary Group in the NSW Parliament, a highly positive development expected to further strengthen parliamentary, diplomatic and public level relations between Pakistan and Australia.
Madasar Ali Cheema praised both leaders for their community service and efforts in promoting a positive image of Pakistan, saying that Pakistanis around the world are bringing honour to the country through their talent, unity and collective efforts. He expressed his commitment that the Pakistan Business Association Korea would continue building strong ties with overseas Pakistani organisations and leaders worldwide, promoting joint initiatives in trade, investment, education and community development. He particularly advised emerging young overseas community leader Affan Shahid to expand the scope of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation activities in Australia. Affan Shahid also serves as President of PML-N New South Wales.
