Over the weekend we had the pleasure of lending a hand in the farm to fork event at the Barcaldine show.
It was an early start but worth it with all funds raised going towards . The QGB smoker was loaded with briskets from Mort & Co aswell as some generously donated home grown cuts to top it off.
We hope everyone enjoyed the event and thanks to organisers that made it possible.

Happy new year to all. We finally managed to get out to the farm today after significant rain last week. Around 180mm fell on QGB headquarters which has halted our start to the year but we won’t dare complain about that. Hopefully we are able to hit the ground running next week to ensure minimal delays on stock. We thank you again for your ongoing support and are excited for the year ahead!

Nothing like a heatwave to make those long days around the kilns even more pleasant 👌 nature might be turning the heat on us but we are closing the year out full steam ahead to make sure there are no shortages this Christmas 🔥🎅🏻

Well once a year we are kicked out of the shed and the charcoal is pushed aside while the wool bins are filled. This involves abit of a chaotic shuffle around but it’s always nice to get back to roots.
