- Help ensure we have the right people for the job. Direct election of our leaders, and selecting quality candidates, is an an important responsibility of membership. Work to develop new ideas and policies for the next election and beyond.

- As a member you have direct access to our politicians, candidates and elected officials. Communicate directly with the decision makers, on the issues you care about.
3. Talk Politics
- As a member you will receive regular briefings to keep you up-to-date with what’s happening behind the headlines and why. Membership means you will always hear the real story.
4. Learn New Skills
- Help make the news, not just read about it. By taking part in ‘members only’ political training and campaigning skill development, you’ll be doing your bit to change public opinion on the issues that matter, not just a bystander.

- Queensland Labor offers many different ways to get together with people just as passionate as you. Social functions, talking politics, working together on a great campaign — there’s a ready-made network of friends and connections waiting for you.
5. Take the next step
- If you already consider yourself Labor through and through, then it’s time to take action. Whether you’re from a Labor family, are a committed unionist, have always voted Labor, or share our values, then joining Queensland Labor is the next natural step! With conservative governments at all levels it’s time to get off the sidelines and take up the fight.

- Campaign to restore fairness and justice to Queensland.

We need your help. If you care about the future of our communities, if you've had enough of the cruelty, cuts, ideology and lies of the LNP Government, if you want to make a difference and fight for what's right, we're asking for your help. You don't need to be a Labor party member, you don't even have to have voted for Labor at the last election - you just have to care enough to stand up for what's right. Campbell Newman's government is going to outspend us at this election, but what they don't have is people power. People like you who care enough to put your hand up and volunteer. It might be something as small and simple as helping us get the word out on social media, or as big as helping us to door knock and talk to people, but any contribution you make will be valuable. If you care about our future, now is the time to act.
