First stage of the Normanby Street upgrade sealed ready for asphalt.

Last day today. Just a few speed diversions to install. Put on the traffic control hat today which slowed up some drivers.
Remember, we are a retirement village and keeping to the in house speed limit is so important for the safety of all.
Receiving lots of positive comments so a big shout out to Tanners Bitumen & Asphalt job well done.

Day 2 of the road overlay and it's looking great. If visiting the CARV remember the front entrance is closed to all traffic and pedestrians until the project is complete. Sharing today's picture. Great job Tanners Bitumen & Asphalt

Well we are at the end of day 1 of the road overlay project and a big day it has been.

Still a lot to do, please remember that the front entrance is closed to all traffic and pedestrians all week.

Please remember, no one is to walk through the road works closed zone until the project is complete.

If walking, remember to use the access that has been signed “To The Facility” to and from only.

I have attached a couple of pictures from today.

I especially love the one of that big machine called the ‘profiler’ as it made it’s way under the awning outside the facility, what a nervous moment.
