* Clean any external drains
* Secure any loose objects

We have received reports that SA businesses have received phone calls from someone asking them to purchase advertisements in a magazine that will support local SES volunteers.

The SA State Emergency Service would like to clarify that we do not cold call businesses to solicit donations and the SA State Emergency Service and its volunteers do not receive any support from any journals or magazines.

If you have received a call from someone selling advertising saying the advertisement will support your local SES or a call from someone pretending to collect donations for the SES, report the call to Scam Watch www.scamwatch.gov.au/report-a-scam
