During a Total Fire Ban you must not:

❌ Conduct general-purpose hot works such as welding, grinding, or gas cutting, or any activity that produces sparks or flames

A Total Fire Ban will be in place tomorrow, Thursday, 8 January 2026 for the Southern Riverina area. Hot and dry conditions are forecast across parts of the state, increasing the fire danger. Know your fire risk and what you will do if fire threatens.

Tomorrow 5/12 TOTAL FIRE BAN

A Total Fire Ban will be in place tomorrow, Friday 5 December, for the Southern Riverina, Northern Riverina, Lower Central West and Eastern Riverina areas, with forecasts of high and extreme fire danger. Warm, dry and windy conditions are also forecast across the rest of the state.
