🚨 Urgent Community Notice 🚨

Dear community,

It is with a heavy heart that we share unfortunate news. Last night, vandals targeted our local hall and CFS station, removing all chains and padlocks meant to deter such incidents. Additionally, they vandalized the CCTV cameras, making it even more challenging for us to ensure the safety of our community.

We urge everyone to remain vigilant. This act of vandalism not only harms our community spirit but also hinders our efforts to make positive improvements to our local hall and CFS station.

We need your help! If you have seen or heard anything that could assist us in identifying those responsible, please come forward and contact us. This senseless theft and vandalism not only impact our community but also disrupt the essential work of our dedicated CFS volunteers.

Let's stand together against these actions and work towards a safer, stronger community. Your cooperation and assistance are invaluable in ensuring the well-being of us all.

🔒 Hall Update: Keeping Our Community Safe! 🔒

Hey neighbors! 🏡 We've made some changes around the hall lately to address the rise in vandalism and anti-social behavior during the evenings. 🌙 To tackle this issue head-on, we've added chains to the unmistakable bollards. 🚧 These will be locked during times when access is not needed, helping us create a safer environment for everyone.

Let's work together to curb unwanted behavior and keep our community a welcoming place for all! 🤝 Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Don’t stress - come along to 'Breakfast with Fire' hosted by the Basket Range CFS.

Ignite your day – Enjoy a sizzling egg & bacon breakfast and learn about bushfire preparedness and resilience.

Sunday 18th February

Free breakfast from 9 am, bushfire preparedness session 10am - 11 am

CFS Community Engagement Officer and Adelaide Hills Community resilience officer will be there to provide information.

Activities for the kids, have a close up look at our fire appliances and equipment, and an opportunity to chat to our firefighters.

You might have noticed some work going on at the hall recently! We are now proud owners of solar panels and batteries!! This means in the instance of power failures in Basket Range, the hall will have basic power, lights, hot water and flushing loos!! Please note, during a fire the battery and solar system will be switched off.
The hall committee have an increasingly
long list of jobs to keep updating the hall. If you have ideas, skills or time you are willing to donate we'd love to hear from you!
