🖤💛❤️ **WHAT A DEADLY DAY – ELDERS NAIDOC MINI OLYMPICS 2026!** 🏅🎉

**50 YEARS OF DEADLY!**

What an absolutely deadly day celebrating our Elders and our 50+ Aboriginal community at the **Bathurst NAIDOC Mini Olympics!** ❤️💛🖤

There was plenty of laughter, friendly competition, teamwork and, most importantly, community spirit!

From the Nutbush warm-up to the egg and spoon races, quoits, toilet paper races, bean bag toss and may more games, our Elders certainly showed us they've still got it! 🏆😂

A huge **THANK YOU** to all our deadly Elders who came along, had a go and made the day so special. It wasn't about winning or losing it was about coming together, having a yarn, sharing a laugh and celebrating our Elders.

👏 A special shout-out to the **Bathurst High School students** for helping facilitate the games, keeping score, encouraging our Elders and showing what intergenerational connection is all about!

🍽️ We finished off the celebrations with a lovely lunch at **Bathurst RSL**, giving everyone the opportunity to relax and enjoy each other's company.

❤️ **Proudly supported and coordinated by Bathurst Local Aboriginal Land Council**, with funding provided by:

🌟 **Aboriginal Affairs NSW**
🌟 **National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA)**

Your support helps us bring our community together, celebrate our culture and recognise the important role our Elders play in keeping our stories, knowledge and traditions alive.

**Our Elders are our strength, our knowledge and our connection to Country.**

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a deadly success!

🖤💛❤️ **50 YEARS OF DEADLY – AND OUR ELDERS ARE STILL GOING STRONG!** 🖤💛❤️
