At Bathurst Family Support Service we believe that the family is a critical element of our society, that the family provides an essential social structure for the nurturing and development of healthy children. We believe that to assist the child we need to support the family. Bathurst Family Support Service acknowledges that ‘family’ is a broad term referring to the adult or adults who care and nurture a child or children. Families are diverse and no one particular structure is best for a child.
