How are you celebrating ?

This week is Landcare week. So, in reflection, across of these past 30 years of the Landcare movement we would like to acknowledge all those Landcarers across NSW, and Australia, who have been caring for the land as they look back, and look forward. Many words of positivity and endurance were shared through the Landcare NSW survey, but one thing that keep on coming up is the word 'community' and the movement's great ability to look both within their own community but also beyond it. At a local, regional, state and national level (after all, as we all know, weeds, pests and climate shifts know nothing about borders). thank you to those who stood up and said 'yes' to change all those years ago and those who continue to do so. Who plant trees, grasses, remove rubbish from waterways and educate and open themselves to learning, keep on sharing their knowledge and who stick it out even in these exceptionally hard times. Thank you for looking after our land for our future generations.
