the 'Rose' was built here in Bauple in 2004. Gradually my daughters and I painted, decorated,furnished and gardened until we had a home to nourish the soul.It has evolved into the soft, feminine home it now is because of the input of my 3 daughters and myself. It wasnt until 2013 that l was given the thought from a friend that I should indeed share what I have developed. So with that in mind, we o
pened our home, cottages and gardens and started serving devonshire teas. We have met the most amazing people and continue to do so. Over time the girls have moved out but they arrive home a few times a month. About 2 years ago some wayward cows led me to meet a very special man. We married in the gardens of the 'Rose' on the 11th of April 2015. The 'Rose' has grown so very much under his guidance and will continue to do so. We once opened every weekend but now open every Tuesday and the last weekend of the month. My husband passed away on the 27th of November 2017. I will continue to post each week until I further decide on what I need to do . Thank you.
