The inaugural meeting of the Steering Committee for the Bayswater Men's Shed met today and agreed upon the documents to be lodged for incorporation of "The Shed" as a legal entity.
Further business discussed was general housekeeping to ensure smooth passage in the formal registration as a Shed.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of a cheque for $500.00 to President Daniel and treasurer Bill by Jim Chantry on behalf of the Kiwanis Club of Karrinyup . The money will serve as startup capital to assist in costs involved. The City of Bayswater have also budgeted to meet some of the establishment costs.
