🎭 Coming Soon | Year 11 Drama Presents Twelfth Night

Our Year 11 Drama students are preparing to take to the stage with their adaptation of Shakespeare’s great comedy, Twelfth Night (in slightly modern English).

The story follows Viola, a young woman who disguises herself as a man in an attempt to go unnoticed, only to find herself caught in a rather complicated love triangle involving Duke Orsino and Lady Olivia. Expect mistaken identities, plenty of confusion and lots of laughs along the way!

For some of our Year 11 students, this will be their first large scale performance, and they have been working hard to bring the production to life.

Come along and support them on Tuesday 15 September.

🌊 Specialist Marine Connections 🌊

Last week, we welcomed students and staff from Albany Senior High School’s Marine Program to Fremantle College.

Our visitors spent time exploring our Specialist Marine facilities and learning more about the opportunities and experiences available to our students, before heading off site for further activities.

It was fantastic to connect with another WA school that shares our passion for marine education and give their students a glimpse into our program here at Fremantle College.

Thanks for visiting, Albany Senior High School. We hope you enjoyed your time in Fremantle!

💙 EA Appreciation Week 💙

This week we’re celebrating the incredible Education Assistants who make such an important contribution to Fremantle College every single day.

Often working quietly behind the scenes, our EAs support our students, teachers, families and wider College community in countless ways. From providing individual support and encouragement to keeping our programs, services and day to day operations running smoothly, the impact they have is felt right across the College.

To all of our wonderful EAs, thank you for everything you do. Your patience, care, flexibility and commitment to our students never goes unnoticed, and we are incredibly lucky to have you as part of our Fremantle College community.

Happy EA Appreciation Week! 💙

🔹 Welcoming Our 2027 Specialist Students 🔹

Wednesday night we welcomed our incoming 2027 Specialist Music, Marine and ICT students to Fremantle College for our Specialist Orientation Evening.

Students headed into their chosen specialist areas for an informative and hands on session led by Mike Gowland, Specialist Music, Nick Glorie and Rachel Wicks, Specialist Marine, and Dylan Tilbury, Specialist ICT. It was a great opportunity to meet teachers, connect with future classmates and get their first taste of what lies ahead next year.

The evening wrapped up with a welcome from Principal Stan Koios and Associate Principal Brenn Hislop, who oversees our Specialist Programs, before students and families came together for pizza and students received a little Fremantle College goodie bag to take home.

It was wonderful to see so many new faces and plenty of excitement for the year ahead. We can’t wait to officially welcome you to Fremantle College in 2027!
