STALLHOLDERS WANTED!!!

𝑫𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒕𝒔, hosted by Darlington State School P&C, will be held at 8am-12pm Sunday, 25th October, 2026.

There will be live music, local produce and wares from our market stall holders, delicious food and coffee, face painting and free kids activities.

We are inviting stall holders interested to have a stall at the event to submit an application on our website.

Our single stallholder's fee is just $25!!!

We hope to encourage stall holders with products in line with our vision for a market featuring homemade, handmade, homegrown, natural and upcycled products.

🐤🐤Our annual DARLINGTON COMMUNITY MARKETS were an overwhelming success once again yesterday!

The weather was perfect (albeit a bit on the hot side), the crowds were all happy and having a great day and our stallholders were exceptional as always!

Firstly, thank you to our amazing group of parents and community members who organised this whole day! All profits from today go to send our kids to camp! We couldn't put this whole thing together without the help of our team. Teamwork makes the dreamwork!

Secondly, thank you once again to our sponsors are all so generous! Worendo Cottages Ladybrook Farm Neds Restaurant

Thirdly, thank you to our stallholders, musicians and dance performers, most of whom love coming to our markets every year!!

Fourthly thank you to the Heritage Truck Association Australia Inc and Kerry Rural Fire Service for making our entrance so spectacular by lining our carpark. Special thank you to the firies for assisting the ducks to flow down the river with their fire hoses this year!

Finally, thank you to everyone who made the trip out to our wonderful hidden gem of a school today to support us!!

Now for the all-important results...

Our 640 ducks floated their way down our little stretch of the Albert River, and a huge congratulations to our first 3 ducks to cross the finish line 🐤🎉👏

1st prize - 2 nights accommodation at Worendo Cottages won by Kirsty (Duck 21)

2nd prize - Ladybrook Farm bulk beef pack won by Ingrid (Duck 373)

3rd prize - Dinner for 4 adults at Neds Restaurant won by Denise (Duck 403)

All winners have now been contacted via text message.

On behalf of our little country school, we thank you for your support of our raffle and our markets yesterday! It was a fantastic day with picture-perfect weather, and we hope everyone that attended had a wonderful time 🐤

Markets on TODAY 🎉

THE SUN IS ALMOST OUT AND ITS PICTURE PERFECT OUT HERE ☀️

ℹ️ Here's some useful info:

✅Gates open at 8am and all stalls will be OPEN!!

🅿️Parking will be available on the roadside, either before the school if coming from Beaudesert way or you can park over the other side of the bridge (Lost World side) and take care when crossing the bridge.

Darlington State School P&C will be serving hot food from the cafe and scrumptious cakes and slices. All profits from today go to sending our kids to school camp next year!

On top of our food, we have so many amazing stalls ranging from craft to crochet, homewares to candles, jewellery to clothing, hair accessories to flowers, windchimes to books and toys, plants to art, honey to beef jerkey.

Plus sooo much for the kids to do!!

💲Don't forget to bring cash as many stallholders don't have eftpos and there are no ATM's. Phone reception is only reliable for telstra.

🤠Best to wear enclosed shoes, bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and an esky.

Our markets will be on this SUNDAY 26th October at 2744 Kerry Road, Darlington!

ℹ️ Here's some useful info:

✅Gates open at 8am and ALL MARKET STALLS will be OPEN!!

Kerry Rural Fire Service will have multiple vehicles here, with information and goodies to give away!

Heritage Truck Association Australia Inc will also have some trucks to admire and they are happy to chat about their special vehicles too.

Darlington State School P&C will be serving hot food from the cafe and scrumptious cakes and slices.

Plus get your coffee hit or milkshakes from Lost World Coffee, ice cream from The Dessert co, beef jerkey from Qld Biltong Pty Ltd and icey cold drinks from Iced Tea Co, plus take home some yummy treats The Fudge Bar and fresh local produce from Tommerup's Dairy Farm (bring an esky)

We have a great variety of market stalls this year and our focus is on homemade, handmade and upcycled 🎉

We will also be offering a SCHOOL TOUR at 10am!!

💲Don't forget to bring cash as many stallholders don't have eftpos and there are no ATM's.

🚗 Parking will be on the roadside before the school AND over the bridge passed the school as well. Be sure to take care if parking on the other side when crossing the bridge.

🎶Griffin County will be playing live music all morning! They will be sharing some upcoming young talented performers throughout the day too!

Plus a special performance by Stomp and Scuff Linedancing at 9.30am BeauDance Academy at 10.30am!!

BDK Mixed Movement Arts Academy will have instructors on site to run through some moves and provide further info.

This Sunday, at our Darlington Community Markets, we will have some very special visitors from the 🔥Kerry Rural Fire Service bringing their vehicles and other machines for all to appreciate!!

🚒👨‍🚒Our hard working firies servicing our area are all volunteers as part of the rural team, they sacrifice so much time and put their own lives on hold and at risk to help us when our properties are at risk. Its a real privilege to have them attend our event to share some of their knowledge and insights with us all.

ℹ️They have a new Community awareness trailer with lots of exciting items to share as well.

🙏Be sure to stop in and have a chat, give them a thank you and a smile 😃

Black Dragon Kai Martial Arts will be at our markets this Sunday to share information about what they do.

Channel your inner Ninja 🥷 and get a taste of what their club can offer you!

They will have some instructors there to run through some exercises like punching/kicking the bag and maybe even throwing some ninja stars!

What is now Black Dragon Kai began in July 1993 by Geordie Lavers-McBain in Beaudesert Queensland. Since that time, Black Dragon Kai Combat Systems has continued to improve and evolve to offer the most up to date and relevant techniques, theories and training methodologies.

Black Dragon Kai's Head Quarters (Beaudesert) is a World Class training centre for Martial Arts. With 2 fully matted training rooms, both with wall matts and mirrors giving a safe, comfortable area where students can develop an eye for their own movements. There is an extensive range of training equipment including:bags, speed balls, ropes, weights, boxes, balls & weapons.

Our markets will be open from 8am to 12pm this Sunday at Darlington State School and entry is an optional gold coin donation.
