We want to help find this beautiful boy a kind and loving home. Zeus is 18 months old, desexed and vaccinated. He is friendly and good with kids and other dogs. There has been an issue with the landlord of his owners rental property and this is the reason for his re-homing. He is located in the Wangaratta area. Any enquiries are to go to Barb on 0449230467

Today our protest gained excellent media attention! The gratitude I feel towards everyone that supported us today is overwhelming. Lets just see what happens next, hopefully the golf club will re-think its plans and look at ways to embrace their wildlife. (Also take a look at the sign for the golf course 🦘)

We would like to conduct a peaceful protest tomorrow morning at the Benalla Golf Club. The golf club promotes it's beautiful kangaroos to tourists and members on its website. However they now have successfully applied for a permit to kill these kangaroos. Shooting was meant to begin tomorrow. We would like to show our disgust in their actions and support for our wildlife. These families of kangaroos have lived there for many years peacefully, this is not ok to slaughter their families. Please come along and stand up for this injustice, 10.30am Thursday 11/6, thank you

You can never be too careful. A couple of weeks ago disaster nearly struck. I had a hectic day, lots of driving, vet visits in Corowa and the farewell service to a beautiful lady. In my haste I left Skeeter dogs medication on the kitchen bench and rushed for the shower. When I got back into the kitchen Nigel was chowing down on the bag of tablets. I'm normally so careful with stuff like this but today I messed up. Rushing Nigel to Indigo vets we calculated he swallowed 26 tablets. Things were looking very grim for my boy. As fate would have it Nigel ticked off one of his 9 lives that day. Thanks to the care he was given and a few days in hospital our boy made it through. It's so hard to keep watch on everything, but 1 tiny slip up and it could have cost little Nigel his life. Happy to say he is back to being the little menace we know and love.

This is a picture of a precious koala someone hit with their car and left on the side of the road. She didn't deserve your lack of humanity, your inability to care enough to get her help. Luckily another driver spotted her and called for help. Her wounds are minor however she has a nasty concussion and is a bit disorientated. With love and care she hopefully will be reunited with her home and family after some rest. Please if you see an injured animal don't drive by without giving assistance or making a call, you may save a life.

Not all rescues are cute and fuzzy! Although I think these guys are adorable 🥰 Sometimes little bats end up in places they shouldn't, inside umbrellas, under cushions on outdoor furniture, if you find one of these little guys call wildlife rescue and get some advice. It's not safe to handle them unless you have the appropriate vacinations.
