Glasshouse Mountains State Emergency Service Glasshouse Mountains SES is one of the Groups forming part of the Sunshine Coast State Emergency Service Unit. It is based in Beerwah.

The Glasshouse Mountains SES Support Group are holding their monthly Sausage Sizzle again this Saturday 6th June at the Beerwah Co-op from 8am till 2pm.

Come along and say hi to the volunteers in orange and grab a sausage or two and a drink. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

The Glasshouse Mountains SES Group recently congratulated our group leader Dan Wallison for again stepping up and accepting the position to continue his valued guidance and supporting the team. Congratulations Dan.
Also the Group extended thanks to Dirk van Diem for supporting and provding training to the team as Deputy Group Leader as he steped down due to other commitments. Congratulations to Anthony Comer for stepping into the Deputy GL position and we look forward to your guidance.
Both Dan and Anthony were welcomed into their respective positions by the Local Controller Brendan Casement and the Area Controller Jason Pascoe.

Well that’s a wrap for 2025, Glasshouse SES would like to thank the community and all of our amazing local businesses for all support you’ve given us this year and we wish you all a great Christmas and prosperous new year.

We will be still operational over the Christmas season if we are needed.
