🖤💛❤️ 💙💚🤍 NAIDOC at Goodna State School 🖤💛❤️ 💙💚🤍

Our First Nations Dance Troupe proudly supported the Goodna State School NAIDOC celebrations, helping bring culture, energy and connection to the assembly.

Our students were fantastic role models throughout the celebration, engaging with younger students, encouraging participation and creating a supportive and positive atmosphere.

Watching our students connect so naturally with the younger generation was a real highlight. Their confidence, kindness and willingness to support others is a wonderful reflection of the young people they are becoming.

We are incredibly proud of our First Nations Dance Troupe and the way they represented BPSSC. The future is certainly bright!

🖤💛❤️ 💙💚🤍 Celebrating NAIDOC at Fernbrooke State School 🖤💛❤️ 💙💚🤍

Our BPSSC First Nations Dance Troupe brought plenty of energy, culture and deadly spirit to the Fernbrooke State School NAIDOC celebrations.

Following their performance, our students invited Fernbrooke students to join them for interactive dance workshops, creating a fun and welcoming space to learn, move and celebrate culture together.

These moments are about more than sharing a performance, they’re about making connections, building positive relationships and creating a sense of belonging between our schools.

A huge shout-out to our First Nations Dance Troupe for being such fantastic role models and for sharing their culture with confidence, generosity and pride.

💉 Missed a school immunisation clinic?

While our school immunisation clinic has now finished for the year, eligible students who missed their vaccination can still access the Ipswich Community Immunisation Clinics. ❤️

Vaccinations are free for eligible students and are recommended as part of the National Immunisation Program.

Year 7 vaccinations include:
• HPV (Human Papillomavirus)
• dTpa (Diphtheria, Tetanus and Whooping Cough)

Year 10 vaccinations include:
• Meningococcal ACWY
• Meningococcal B (2 doses)

If your child missed their scheduled school vaccination, they can attend an Ipswich Community Immunisation Clinic to receive the same vaccination.
