Host an event at the 2026 Benalla Festival! 🎉

Expressions of interest are now open for individuals, community groups, businesses and creatives keen to be part of this much‑loved celebration of culture, creativity and community.

The festival runs 31 October–8 November 2026, with two vibrant weekends showcasing our rural townships and bringing Benalla to life. 🌾🎭

To help bring your event idea to life, funding is available through Council’s Event Funding Program:
◾Minor Events – up to $1,500
◾Major Events – up to $3,000.

This support is designed to assist with costs such as equipment, promotion, venue hire and more. 💰✨

If you’re planning to apply for funding, don’t miss our Secrets of Grant Success workshop on Thursday 16 July. It’s a great chance to strengthen your application and learn practical tips for securing support. 💡📘

🎉 Nominations are now open to join the Benalla Festival Advisory Committee 🎉

Love the buzz of Festival season? Passionate about community events? We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic locals to help shape one of Benalla’s biggest celebrations.

The Benalla Festival brings our rural city to life every November with colour, creativity and country spirit. We’re inviting community members to join the Advisory Committee and help plan, promote and grow this much‑loved event.

This is a three‑year appointment and a fantastic opportunity to get involved, share ideas and help create something special for our community.
