Opened in 1918, saved by people power in 2013/2018/2020, Victoria’s Seasonal Pool of the Year in 2023 💙 In 2013, the Golden Square community successfully campaigned to reopen their local swimming pool - and have since transformed it into a vibrant com

munity space for all. The site was originally known as Golden Square Baths, and first opened in 1918.

Thousands of dollars has been raised for Golden Square Pool thanks to the Container Deposit Scheme! And you can still collect cans and bottles and donate to us during the off season ✅

The Container Deposit Scheme is such a brilliant way to raise funds for your community pool - and do something good for our environment at the same time.

Simply collect your cans and bottles at home, and when you go to a refund point - ask for the funds to be directed to Golden Square Pool. Every little bit helps!

Our refund barcode is also included in this post.

All money raised this way will be used to maintain and improve facilities at Golden Square Pool. Thanks for your support.

Our on site collection points will be back in November when we open for summer 😊
