Today, K-2 and 3-6 students welcomed the highly accomplished Czes Lawicki from North Entrance Nippers who shared the important role of surf lifesavers in our community. Linking to our History unit, students learned about helping others, basic first aid, and the responsibilities of a first responder. It was a valuable opportunity to explore what it means to be a kind and caring citizen in our community.

Lunchtime code clubs kicked off this week!

We had a great time with robotics and Lego WeDo 2.0, learning how to code and having a great time. It will be wonderful to see more faces next week.

Today all students at BVPS participated in the National Simultaneous Storytime. Millions of children all over Australia read picture book Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller. Our students and staff celebrated by wearing sports jerseys from our favourite teams. A special thanks to our very own Luna Roo Librarian, Mrs Fuary for organising!

Congratulations to our touch football teams who played in a very wet gala day! Our boys played 2 games, with one win and one loss while our girls played 3 games with 2 wins and 1 loss. Great sportsmanship from all and lots of fun in the rain!
