πŸš’πŸ”₯ A huge thank you to the Beverley Fire and Rescue Service volunteers who hosted our littlest students this week!

Our Kindy, Pre-Primary and Year 1 students were lucky enough to visit the Beverley Fire Station for an excursion. During their visit, they met local firefighters, explored the fire station, and learned about the important role volunteers play in keeping our community safe. πŸ‘©β€πŸš’πŸ‘¨β€πŸš’

To all our wonderful volunteer firefighters, thank you for being the heart of our community and for inspiring our students. β€οΈπŸ‘

πŸ’›πŸ’™Staff and students were thrilled to welcome West Coast Eagles legend Josh Kennedy for a brief visit to our school on Wednesday.
While in Beverley visiting Avon Valley Ag, Josh dropped by the school to chat with students and have a casual kick on the oval.
His visit was a wonderful example of the connections the school has in this community, and how we can all work together to create lasting memories for our young people.πŸ’›πŸ’™

Yesterday, our students gave their all in the field events, showing off their skills in jumps and throws. They brought plenty of SPARK to every event.
We can't wait to see the competition continue at the main track events on Friday 28 August! πŸ…πŸ’ͺ

Beverley District High School is proud to be one of 19 schools across the state selected to participate in the Department of Education’s Leading Student Wellbeing Trial. As part of this initiative, we are strengthening the explicit teaching of social skills and emotional regulation through dedicated URSTRONG lessons across the school. Pictured are our Pre-primary students using the β€œFriend-o-Meter”, a URSTRONG tool that helps students make positive decisions about friendships and navigate interactions with their peers.

Our Cadets are continuing their partnership with the Beverley River Care Group helping to w**d and prepare an area along the riverbank for future revegetation.

This work builds on their efforts from last year, when the Cadets joined the group to plant native vegetation along the river. It's fantastic to see our students giving back to the community while helping to care for and improve the local environment. πŸŒ±πŸ’š
