What a special day we had celebrating National Simultaneous Storytime! 📚✨

Our ECE students enjoyed a magical morning in the library with Mrs Forzatti, who had everyone excited as she counted us down to begin the story together. Meanwhile, Mrs Williams was kicking goals in the school hall with our Year 1 and 2 students, while our Year 3, 4 and 5 students joined the celebration from their classrooms. ⚽📖

Our Year 6 students were also busy representing our school at interschool soccer — what a fantastic day all around!

There was such a wonderful buzz across the whole school as Luna Roo became a very special part of our celebrations. 🦘💛

To picnic benches enjoyed by everyone.

Our camp shirts look fabulous, ready to wear,
Thanks to your hard work, support, and care.

You roll up your sleeves for each busy bee,
Making our school the best it can be!

You sweep, scrub, tidy, plant, and mow,
Helping our outdoor learning spaces grow.

Then somehow you still find time to prepare
Discos and colour foam fun beyond compare!

With dancing, laughter, music, and cheer,
You help create memories year after year.

So here’s a big heartfelt
THANK YOU from us all,
For making our school such a wonderful place for big and small!

The fences have come down, the works have been completed and we have handover of our Bicton School Hall! 🙌👏

Our staff could not be happier as the doors were opened for the first time today. They have already started planning exciting learning opportunities in the hall.

Look what happens when you come through the office: 😊

Mrs Forzatti popped out of her office to give our Kindy class a box of books each. Reading is one of Mrs Forzatti’s favourite thing to do and she is so excited when she sees children reading. So what better opportunity than to give these great packages to help share the love of reading. 📖📚🔖
