Did you hear the news?!?!

The Simpson Desert Munga-Thirri NP is finally open for business 🥳🥳

We cannot wait to see all the intrepid adventurers out this way soon to explore our patch of paradise!

Be sure to drop into the Birdsville Roadhouse for fuel, groceries, tyre repairs (and a chat), the Bakery for their famous camel pie, the Hotel for a bevvie or two (and to grab a Recovery Package in case of car trouble in the desert), and the Karrawa Wirinya cafe for brekkie & coffee.

Before you leave home, be sure to check the status of the roads on your route and take it easy on the drive. We want to see you here, so please drive safely 🚙🚙
