Our lost property cupboard is quite full with unnamed jackets and jumpers. Please make sure all school uniform items are clearly labelled with your child's name so that any misplaced items can be quickly returned to their owner. We encourage families to check that names are still visible on clothing, especially as the weather gets colder and extra layers are coming to school each day.

Congratulations to our 8 students who proudly represented our school at today's Regional Cross Country event.

Their determination, resilience, and positive attitude were outstanding, and we are incredibly proud of their efforts.

On Friday at Assembly, Orchard Grove was proudly presented with our SWPBS Silver Award in recognition of our commitment to creating a positive, safe and supportive learning environment. This achievement reflects the hard work of our students, staff and families in consistently demonstrating our school values and contributing to a positive school culture.

The SWPBS Silver Award is a significant achievement, with only around 5% of schools across Victoria reaching this level of accreditation. We are incredibly proud of this milestone and the collective effort that has made it possible.

Congratulations to our entire school community as we continue our journey towards excellence in student wellbeing and positive behaviour support.

⭐💜 Starlight Day – Thursday 11th June 💛⭐

Get ready for a day of fun, laughter and fundraising as we celebrate Starlight Day!

Students are invited to come dressed in purple, yellow, or stars and bring a gold coin donation to support the amazing work of the Starlight Children's Foundation.

We will also be holding our Starlight Joke Competition, with classes going head-to-head to share their funniest jokes. At the end of the day, one year level will earn the title of the funniest cohort in the school! 😄🏆

We can't wait to see everyone's creative outfits and hear plenty of laughs while supporting a great cause.

We were thrilled to welcome former student Max Gruzewski back to our school today as we inducted him into the OGPS Hall of Fame.

Max was our School Captain in 2016 and now plays AFL with the GWS Giants. We are incredibly proud of all that Max has achieved and thank him for taking the time to celebrate this special occasion with our school community.

It looks like a busy week ahead at OGPS!

Good luck to our regional cross country runners as they represent our school, and to our Year 5 and 6 students competing in interschool sport—we know you'll do your best and make us proud. Don't forget that next Thursday is our Starlight Foundation Dress Up Day, so come dressed in yellow, purple or stars and bring a gold coin donation to support this wonderful cause.
