We operate with a simple goal – to ensure that all current and former ADF personnel and their families that are in need of help get the support they need. Our commitment is not limited to ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day – our staff and volunteers work all year round to:
Provide welfare and support for the wounded, injured and ill and their families
Honour the memory of those who have served throu

gh commemorative events
Preserve the spirit of mateship within the ADF community
Promote the interests of veterans and ADF members to Government and the wider community.

Today’s Blackbutt RSL Members draw was number 17.
Unfortunately, the member was not present at the draw and the jackpot goes to $180 next Saturday.
The Members draw is every Saturday and drawn between 3.30pm and 5.30pm. You need to be present to win.
Come to the Sub-Branch on Saturday afternoons for a game of pool and enjoy some company. You never know. You could win the jackpot.

What a great turnout for Create, Craft, and Chat at the Blackbutt RSL Sub-Branch today! We even had some fantastic visitors join us from Kingaroy.While the plan was a painting wildlife day, Oscar the black Burmese cat ended up being our star model, bringing plenty of smiles and inspiration to the group who did paibting while others made cards, crotchet and Jacki s black cat couture jacket is progressing! 🐾

The next session is 26th September as the 12th is Avofest so we will all be busy having fun at that.

We have just had a huge donation of craft goodies for inspiration thankyou Kath do maybe rock painting next time.

Exciting progress at the RSL!

Our two new Grass Trees (Xanthorrhoea) have been planted by Dave and Ron, and the front of the building is really starting to come together.

A big thank you to Bendigo Community Bank Yarraman & District, Nanango and Blackbutt for their grant support and to Blackbutt Hardware for supplying the plants.
