Thanks to the fantastic volunteers of the Woodlake Reserve Action Group (WRAG) !
Looking forward to catching up tomorrow morning from 9 AM for more tree planting.

The City of Mitcham's first bocce court is now open at Woodlake Reserve in Craigburn Farm, providing a welcoming space where neighbours can connect over a friendly game and spend time outdoors.

The project was inspired by the local community, with the concept developed by the Woodlake Reserve Action Group following community consultation. Already proving popular with local residents, the court is helping bring people together, with plans already underway for a community bocce festival in spring.

Kids playing under City of Mitcham sprinklers? So high risk the CEO says it needs a full risk assessment, insurer approval & another report first. 🤦 My motion to turn on the sprinklers for a few hours if it hits 35 C is up tonight. Hopefully a compromise can be reached.

Blackwood Christmas Pageant 2025 tonight! Council staff have organised for us these rather special City of Mitcham wheelie bins. Looking forward to seeing all of our wonderful community showing how to celebrate Christmas. See you on Main Road from 6:30 and get the kid ready to catch the lollies!
