🚫 TOTAL FIRE BAN 🇦🇺 AUSTRALIA DAY
A total fire ban declared for the Central Ranges District for tomorrow 🇦🇺Australia Day, Monday 26 January.
Central Ranges District comprises the following Local Government areas:
📍Bathurst, Blayney, Cabonne, Cowra, Lithgow, Mid-Western, Oberon, Orange
Hot 💥, dry and windy 💨 conditions are forecast, increasing the fire danger to an EXTREME 📈level.
🚫This means NO fires in the open air.
🚫All issued fire permits are also revoked and no further fire permits will be issued. No exceptions!
🚫 Hot works are not to be conducted in the open, including welding, grinding or cutting
🚫For any planned activities such as grass cutting or slashing, please reconsider for a later date with more desirable conditions
🇦🇺 Regardless, we still want to see everyone celebrating the day tomorrow. If festivities are being enjoyed outside, please remember to Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek, Slide.
