Today was all about celebrating Numeracy! Mrs Parker designed a fun and interactive Maths rotation session where the school got to work in their groups playing a variety of maths games! It's so nice to see a group of students of all ages and abilities working together and enjoying Numeracy!

We continued to celebrate Literacy by doing one of the students' favourite activities: BUDDY READING! Guparr showed their maturity by reading Pamela Allen books to Wubaray, while Wubaray showed off their huge improvement with their readers with pride!

We kicked off Literacy and Numeracy week with a whole school Emoji Challenge. The students were divided into teams while Mrs Hodgson showed them Emoji's that represented different children's books. We are a competitive bunch and it was a very close result - but the winner of the day was FUN!!

When you're in kindergarten, the world is full of wonder. There's so much to learn and enjoy.
Mac, or should we say Elmer the Elephant, shows us the perfect example of what it's like to fill your world with wonder and imagination; to stop, notice and appreciate all the wondrous little things in life.

We had another fantastic Aboriginal transition session at Tomaree High School today!
Thanks to the THS team for making us feel so welcome, for the fun activities and for helping us develop new friendships.

Our little runner has been at it again. Congratulations, Ella, on competing for Port Stephens Zone at the Hunter Regional Athletics Championships in the 1500m and 800m events. We're all very proud of you here at Bobs Farm Public School.
