all uniforms, safety equipment and training are paid for by FRNSW, all you have to do is commit!
What does the commitment look like? what ever you want it to be, Minimum of 24 hours of availability per week and 4 hours worth of station drills per month (two 2 hour sessions).

Station 229 will be helping our friend Santa again this year with his lolly drop around town.

We will be giving Rudolph a rest this Christmas eve and to guide Santa with our red truck so bright.

So be on the look out Christmas eve for Santa and his friends from FRNSW, he will be leaving the station at 5pm and starting on the western side of town and working our way across town hopefully getting to every street.

Today, we honour those who dedicated their lives to serving and protecting their country during times of war and conflict.
FRNSW firefighters have a long and proud history working within, and alongside, the Australian Defence Force through conflict and peacekeeping operations. Many made the ultimate sacrifice; their courage and commitment will never be forgotten.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
