Last week four BPS students travelled to Rutherford high School for a robotics workshop.

They had lots of fun learning to write a code to allow a robot to follow a line through a maze!

Our PSSA netball played Dungog last week in a super close match.

After a hard fought game, Bolwarra went down 12-8.

In Week 5, the K/6B students embraced a week dedicated to building social skills, exploring community access, and participating in a diverse array of engaging activities. Highlights included designing vibrant tie-dye shirts, cooking tasty mini pizzas, and practicing real-life skills such as purchasing lunch within the community. The students also enjoyed sporting activities like ten-pin bowling and embarked on a lively scavenger hunt around the school.

Additionally, they explored the fascinating world of electrical circuits, learning how to make lights illuminate, fans operate, and motors spin. The week was further enriched with exciting science experiments and creative craft projects, allowing students to express their creativity and curiosity. Overall, it was a fun-filled and rewarding week that offered valuable learning experiences for all.
