Celebrating solar success ☀️👏

40 organisations across the east are signed up to the Solar my Suburb program! With over 596kW of solar power installed, our organisations are producing cleaner energy, lowering electricity bills and building stronger communities.

👏 A big thank you to the local organisations leading the way, and for the grants received through the Councils, NSW Government's Community Building Partnership' and the Community Bank Clovelly who have helped make these projects possible.

Inspired by their success? We’re inviting more community organisations to join the program and enjoy the benefits of solar.

Another successful solar installation 👏 We are very proud to have supported Australian 18 Footers, with their new 75kW solar system helping to avoid 90 tonnes of carbon emissions PER year - the equivalent of taking 32 cars off the road🚗 What an amazing demonstration of leadership in our community!

👏Three cheers for Australian 18 Footers, who’ve installed an impressive 75kW solar system on their rooftop, now powering their activities with clean, green energy👏

We provided the club with help from start to finish through the Solar My Suburb program, which helps clubs and community organisations in Sydney’s eastern suburbs save on energy bills with solar power. It’s now helped a dozen community organisations and 40 schools go solar.

We are so proud to share the amazing achievement of the Sydney Goethe-Institut Australien who, with support from Solar my Suburb, recently installed a 17kW solar system! This will produce enough energy to power three homes, cut the Institut's bills by more than a third and reduce its carbon emissions by a significant 23 tonnes. Here are some students from the Goethe-Institut celebrating by building Solar Buddy lights (SolarBuddy.org) 💛
