Writing Tuesdays Bribie Island A free, weekly event designed to help you cultivate the habit of writing. Writing Tuesday is a free, volunteer-led program for writers at all levels.

Come write and connect with other writers in your community. We understand that life can get in the way of writing. That is why we have Writing Tuesdays, a chance for you to get those words down on the page. This is a space that will nurture your craft and encourage a routine you can stick to. Inspired by Queensland Writers Centre's successful Writing Friday program, these sessions follow the Pomo

doro Technique of 25-minute blocks of writing, followed by 5-minute blocks. (4 sessions of 25-minutes with a 5-minute break between each.) The idea behind the method is to train the mind into working effectively to reach smaller targets, improving the overall writing time and productivity. We are inviting everyone — members and non-members alike, of any genre or skill — to book your seat and attend a Writing Tuesday program session for free, at the Bribie Island Library.
