☀️ A Wonderful Day on the Bay! ☀️

The Probus Club of Morisset South Lakes enjoyed a fantastic day aboard the Nova Luncheon Cruise, with beautiful sunshine, stunning bay views, a delicious lunch and, most importantly, wonderful company.

A huge thank you to our members for their outstanding support and fantastic turnout, which made the day such a great success. It was also a pleasure to welcome so many guests.

A special thank you to our Outings Organisers, Maureen and Judy, for their hard work in planning another memorable outing. We truly appreciate all that you do.

Another great morning for the Probus club Morisset southlakes INC.

Our members were delighted to welcome guest speaker Jon from rescue me computers, who gave a very informative and engaging presentation on the latest scams targeting Australians.
Jon shared practical tips on how to recognise common scams, protect personal information and stay safe online.
It was an eye-opening talk that everyone thoroughly enjoyed and found extremely valuable.
Following the presentation members caught up over a delicious morning tea with plenty of conversation and laughter making another enjoyable club meeting.

What a wonderful day out today for the Probus Club of Morisset Southlakes Inc at Cue & Crew Tuggerah.
Plenty of laughter, good company, and a relaxed atmosphere that everyone enjoyed.
A special thank you to Dawn, our hostess, who was absolutely amazing and helped make the day run so smoothly.

We also sincerely appreciate all the members who came along to support the club and make the outing such a success. It’s always great to see such strong participation and friendly faces.

A big thank you as well to Judy and Maureen for stepping up and organising a fantastic day out for everyone,you did a great job and it’s truly appreciated.

Looking forward to our next get-together!

Our members enjoyed a wonderful movie day at Boolaroo Cinema, where we watched Sheep Detective. It was a great opportunity to relax, share some laughs, and enjoy good company together.

Our Members enjoyed an informative presentation by Brad from Fire & Rescue, who spoke about house fire escape plans, smoke alarms, lithium battery safety, and the correct use of fire blankets and extinguishers.
A highlight of the morning was the Kitchen Fire Simulator demonstration, which showed the dangers of using water on a cooking oil fire and the safest ways to extinguish it.
We thank Brad and the Fire & Rescue team for a practical, engaging, and educational presentation.

Sydney Harbour Cruise – Anniversary of Japanese Midget Submarine Attack of 1942
A perfect day was had for our cruise last Monday, June 1.
Our Southlakes Probus group joined members from Southlakes U3A, as well as some other Probus clubs from Sydney.
The weather was glorious for cruising the Sydney Harbour!! Some enjoyed Vivid the night before, while others trained it down on the day.
Noel Phelan & Ray Rees, both volunteers with the Naval Historical Society of Australia, talked us through the missed opportunities on stopping the attack and what happened during the attack.
We got to see all the points of interest re the attack. A wonderful morning tea was served including Wagyu homemade sausage rolls!! Thanks to all who attended on the day and for supporting this annual Naval Historical Society of Australia event.

What a fantastic day for our very first Movie Day! 🎬🍿
A big thank you to all the members from our Probus Club of Morisset Southlakes who joined us at Boolaroo Cinemas. We all had a wonderful time together enjoying the movie and great company.
A special thank you to Bob from Boolaroo Cinemas for making us feel so welcome with reserved seating and an excellent price for our group. Your hospitality was greatly appreciated.
Everyone had an amazing day, and we look forward to many more outings together in the future!

What a fantastic day we had at the Probus Club of Morisset South Lakes barbecue! ☀️🌭 Set against the beautiful backdrop of Lake Macquarie, the weather couldn’t have been better, and the company was even better.
There was plenty of laughter, great conversation, and a real sense of community, exactly what Probus is all about.
A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day so enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to our next gathering! 😊
