Last night the brigade had fantastic evening at the Boolarra Community Hotel celebrating another year of service, commitment and community at our Annual Presentation Night.

It was a privilege to recognise our members' dedication, welcome new firefighters to the brigade, and celebrate outstanding service milestones of 25, 45 and 50 years.

A sincere thank you to our members, their families and supporters, and our special guests for joining us. Your commitment is what keeps our brigade strong and ready to serve our community.

Congratulations to all of tonight's award recipients, and thank you to everyone who continues to make our brigade what it is. 🚒👏

We've had a bit of a working bee down at the station today and got around to cleaning up a few areas that have been overlooked for too long..

Thanks to those members that could make it along today - Many hands make light work.

Also a big thanks to the team at Mirboo North Hardware for the donation of paint to help us down at the station.. The walls went up a few months ago, but now they are getting a much needed lick of paint.

A new Australia wide Emergency Alerting system is being tested on Monday 27th July at 2pm.
What is AusAlert?
AusAlert is a fast and reliable way to help communities be informed and better prepared during local and national emergencies.

What is AusAlert for?
AusAlert gives the Australian Government and state and territory emergency services organisations the ability to send national or local alerts about disasters. These could be natural hazards such
as bushfires, floods, cyclones and tsunamis, or events like public health emergencies, security threats or biosecurity incidents. It's just one of the many ways we're helping to keep Australians
safer in times of disaster.
