Only 2 weeks left until the Fire Danger Period starts here on the Mid North Coast on the 1st of September.
Our local crews will be around this weekend, but please play it safe!
Fill in your Notification of Planned Burn if you intend to burn off over the next couple of weeks, and let your neighbours know 🙂

Today Booral, Limeburners Creek Rural Fire Brigade and Wards River RFS Brigade attended training in Gloucester to get up to speed with technology - some of us being dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st Century 😁 We all got alot out of today and thank you to the organisers for giving up their Saturday morning. Another example of how we are getting prepared for the upcoming fire season in our area.
And of course a mandatory stop at Cambodia street food Wards River was a must on the way home

Crews on scene at a motor vehicle accident near Ribbons Rd and the Buckets Way. Please slow down when you are passing and follow directions of traffic controllers
Thankfully no one is seriously injured.
To the person who owns the paddock opposite Ribbons Rd with horses, your fence will need repairing (again) apologies we cannot do a temp fix at this stage
