Emergency Callout – Boorowa 232
Friday, 3:56pm
Responded to a car fire.
Fire was nearly extinguished on arrival thanks to quick action by members of the public.
Crew extinguished remaining fire and made the scene safe.
No persons were injured

Emergency Callout – Boorowa 232
Sunday, 12:10pm
Responded to reports of a shop fire in Yass.
On arrival, Yass 511 found the premises to be filled with smoke.
Investigation determined the cause to be a smoke machine, with no signs of fire present.
Situation deemed safe and no further action required.

Saturday 9th May – 8:10am
AFA (Automatic Fire Alarm) activation at hospital. Attended site and investigated alarm. No signs of fire or emergency located. System checked and site made safe

Attended local service station at 5:04pm today for a leaking fuel bowser.

Isolated fuel supply and made safe using fuel absorbent.

Site left safe. Owner to arrange repairs tomorrow.

9:07pm Saturday night
Called to Yass for a reported grass fire, as Yass crews were committed to a building fire at the time.
Upon arrival, the incident was determined to be a controlled pit fire. No further action required

🚨 Emergency Response – Boorowa 232 🚨
Friday, 10/4/26 at 11:30am
We were called to an AFA (Automatic Fire Alarm) in Yass. Crews responded promptly, however thankfully there were no signs of fire and we were stood down by Yass crews shortly after.
