Mayor Liz Goossens invites you to join in celebrating 150 Years of the Tatiara District Council.

Commemorating the proclamation establishing the District of Tatiara, published in the Government Gazette on 29 June, 1876.

Join as we celebrate 150 years of local history, community and progress, and enjoy a special display of archived photographs and memorabilia reflecting the rich story of the Tatiara district.

** PUBLIC CONSULATION - DRAFT COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT POLICY **

We are inviting community members to share their thoughts on our Draft Community Engagement Policy.

Council is committed to open, accountable and responsive decision making, which is informed by effective communication and engagement between Council and the community.
Changes to the Local Government Act 1999 in relation to public consultation, including the establishment of a Community Engagement Charter, requires Council to adopt a Community Engagement Policy which aligns with the new Charter by 11 September 2026.

How wonderful it was to see Lorna’s room full of flowers and lots of birthday cards. She has certainly enjoyed celebrating! Happy Birthday Lorna! 🎈💐
